Tennnis

Aww! hooeee!1

I've been so hooked on this new JXL album "3pm/3am" or "Radio JXL: Broadcast from the Computer Hell Cabin" I'm listenin to "Tennis" right now, such a great choon! groovy shize

I went to skoo' today, Lol its funny cuz I took 15ml of NyQuil before skool and the whole first hour I felt so drowsy LOL. My eyes just shut automatically I tried to stay awake in which I succeeded. I didn't do CC practice today, we had to do 800, 200, 400, 200 sprints. I just recorded people's time. I wish I could run but I didn't feel too good.

Tomorrow is guaranteed to SUCK. Here's why. We have CC practice at 6:30..."pshh" u say? uh, yeah in the "AM" that means I have to wake up like 5:30 to get ready, eat and then Tom will pick me up. Bah hambug.

Another fun thing that happened today was, Kaeter's class. We spent the whole hour in the 'planetarium' he had in his classroom which was cool. After the class I went to the bathroom...so did Andrew Aske. He leaves first, I leave..grab my shit. I get to my locker. I realize my notebook is THICK. Well it turns out Aske grabbed my notebook and didn't notice it because it looks exactly the same as his. Blue color, and Five Star ***** . Yup, i got it back though after CC so that's coo'

I'm outie, gotta get more NyQuil to stop cough and take a shower, then study for the Cordie vocab..Fack!

Better

I feel a lot better today. Thanks to my mom who went to a drugstore and got me some medicine. She bought a nasal decongestant pills, and some NyQuil which helped a lot. That stuff makes you wanna sleep.

I didn't go to school today again. I'm coming tomorrow though. Can't miss too much school and I can't make excuses since I'm feeling better now. The only thing I won't do tomorrow is probably practice CC after school.

Right about now I'm listenin to a very very sweet song called "Dont Wake Up Policeman" by Junkie XL. Aww, music can make you feel so nice =) I made some chicken soup when I woke up, and drank two cups of hot tea which I'm thinkin of drinkin again. Kinda thirsty.

Watched Nine Innings documentary on HBO. About Yankees going into the World Series after 9/11.

I just started listening to Junkie XL's Tennis, really chilled & groovy tune that I've been hooked on!! Click here and play track #2 I'm thinking of re-making my "NuMix" mix by taking out some tunes and adding tracks like Tennis, Policeman..etc. basically adding more groovy & melodic music.

I'll keep ya all who read this, posted..

Iggzy, out.

Sick

-_-

I am sick, and I really hate it. I think, and it most likely is, from the Mega Meet @ Milaca on Saturday, Sep 25th. Cuz when we got there the fuckin *achoo* *achoo* ahh, I feel like shit...so when we got there the grass was really wet and I wore sandals at the time. I changed to shoes and you know how all running shoes have like this filter for air to get in..well. Water, got in so I basically spent whole day with wet socks.

Skipped skool today cuz of it. I hate running nose, i hate losing the sense of smell..I wish I could make that Hylands Meet in Bloomington. I know where it is. I used to live by that Golf Course. It would've been interesting to participate if not for this stupid cold.

I donno. I think if I feel like shit I'll skip school tomorrow also.

I'm out. This sucks. I love "Wavy Gravy"

Mega Meet!!!!1

Hollllaaaay sheeeeeez!! this wuz one fun day!

Today was a huge Cross Country meet at Milaca, MN! 100+ teams I believe! first race started somewhere at 10am and the last one was 2:15 which was my race, JV AA. approx, 500 people - this is the biggest high school CC meet in the world, and race...or so I hear.

- Shit, we started out buy going to Milaca on the bus. All of us in the back of the bus attempted to sleep, Tom, Chris, Nick, Phil, Peter, Moe, Joe (lol MoJo) but u know, the bus sucks sooo.

When we got there at 9-ish there were a few teams already. The grass was friggin wet so my shoes got wet and my socks. During all the races I didn't bother to cheer for anyone, Me and everyone else just tried to relax. Tom & Chris lay there. I was doing the same - playing with my new cellfone. Then guess wha..

These chicks that we meet at Red Bird Invitational showed up again. They're from Blue Earth, MN - not that hot, but one of them is, looks very very very much like Emmy Rossum. Click here for picture. They wanted to talk to "Peter" as usual..cuz he's "hot" aww fuckit. I didn't bother to speak to them. Later on though, 30 to 45 minutes before my race when they came to us again, I just went out there and started talkin a bit to the Emmy Rossum look-alike chic. I asked her "Is there a reason why your shirt has # 69 in the back" she gave me this reply that she's had that since 7th grade..then mentioned something about 'sexual' well der, (69) anywayz. Nick Young later told me "You shoulda said "So you've been a whore all your life" " lol, but thats mean.

I also got her fone number. I donno, maybe I'll call her - but its gonna be pointless since she lives so far away and I don't even know if there's any interest in me she might have. I say fuck dat shit, Uk-R-Ainian style. Fuckin' Mike Haase kinda took her over, started talkin to her - I guess she dug him and Peter more. Thats life.

Anyways, on my 3 mile run, fuck - I think I'm improving within each race. There were 500 ppl or so in our last race. The biggest one of the day. I did not stop at once during the race. I ran the whole 3.1 milez. I was pretty much in the back, but dayum. I got a couple of people during my downhills. 'N at the end, I did my famous trademark sprint - and got two people...now that just rocked! It was the highlight of my day.

We left at 3-ish. Stopped at Elk River, MN to eat - I ate at Arby's and...what a surprise those chicks showed up at Arby's also...lol I didn't talk to them this time. MikE Fuckin Haase did once more. Lol when I finished eating I went back to the bus, I saw Jennifer (69 chic) and shouted "Hey sixty-niner" lol she was like "thats it!" lol it was definitely friendly. She got to the back of the bus and Tom & I chat with her a bit. She leftz. Lata

Whats funny is, when we were about to leave - I shouted "My balls itch" to one of the chix from that team LOL. urrbody laughed in the bus, Tom especially couldn't believe it, cuz it was so unexpecting.

Right, I'm outie - this day was the shit!

Coupla excitin' news

I haven't been online for a few days now, because my internet has been down - yeah, didn't pay cuz had no money *doh* =( but!

I raced @ Grasshopper on Tuesday! as you know, it rained hardcore that day and the trails where we had to run were muddy and wet as fuck!

But, I did it. 3 miles! in 26 minutes, I was sooooo proud! I passed 4 people in the first 2 minutes or so. It was a great day for me, because not only did I run 3 miles in 26 minutes, but because I ran those 3 miles without stopping even once for a walking break like i usually do in every race. Which was a huge improvement!

Now, on Thursday which was yesterday. We ran our tempo run. 3 miles long! and guess what...that was my best race yet! not only did I not stop once more, but I kept the same running pace (notice "running" not jogging) for the whole 3 miles! I was amazed how much I've improved!!! I finished the race in 24:52 minutes! the Grasshopper 3-miler I did was 26 somethin! now aint that improvement, not huge, but even so...I felt so, proud =)

- Also today! in school, I went looking for my notebook that I lost yesterday! haha first hour I went around office asking for lost & found, to see if my notebook was there. But then I get back to Cordy's class and Tom calls me over and tells me BOB has it in his locker lol. So anyways, I get it second hour, it appears that I left it on top my locker and forgot to put it back in. Wesley Neddenmeyer saw the notebook told Bob, and he put it in his locka.. How this happened was, 7th hour I went down to put my shit away and there I met Soroush - I took a stomach anti-depressant "TUMS" lol and I got carried away talking to him a bit and forgot all about the notebook.

- Its funny today both Tom and I were wearing same T-shirts and similar jeans (same color light blue) fuckin nuts itch dammit.

Aight, today is exciting cuz when I got back home - My stepdad arrived for the weekend from VA - and he bought me and my mom Verizon Wireless cellfones, So awesome. I feel so cool now =) havin one of these.

Tonight, Football game.

Bored

its 8:43 right now PM, and I'm listening to Junkie XL's album that Bill burned for me and gave to me today before school. Some decent music here, actually this track i'm listening to "dont wake up a policeman" is actually more than decent. Pretty good. I think this is 'night music' for sure. Sumtin u'd listen to in the car while going to Mall of America to watch a movie *wink* know what I mean, Alex and Bill ;-) lol.

I'm bored though right now, It seems that there's nothing to do in my house at all. I barely watch TV anymore. I go on a computer and visit the same websites everyday, for a couple of hours...isn't that weird ? amazing, I wonder how I can just sit here and visit all these same sites. I visit like 4 same websites everyday. IGN, ComingSoon, Joblo, BrainKiller...pshh..Alex if you know some good sites, holla back in the comments. And dude, try to get some people to view this friggin journal up in diz joint. Respeck' Wessside! eez it becoz I eez blaCK?!

Oh man, I need to change my daily schedule, cos this is pathetic!

Whooooo!!

Oh man, what a great night this was yesterday! Just when I thought that water game was fun in CC when I got to hold a hot 9th grader while Ben pours water over us...Bill calls me up at 6-ish and tells me I 'have' to go to a Football Game..and am I fuckin' glad that I went there!!!!! It was the most exciting night so far for me.

I had a lot of fun just standing there on the bleachers with my friends and talking, cracking jokes, and watching the game. The game is almost done, its 23-17 in favor of Orono, the guest team...out of the frickin' blue...someone runs out naked and runs around the football field for some 20 seconds and jumps over the fence. The WHOLE stadium went nuts. Everybody started cheering, laughing, whuuutever. It was insane. It was the highlight of the football game. It didn't take long to find out who it was!

Eric Neinsinger.

It amazed me how fast the gossip spread. Someone gives a name and everybody just starts passing it on. At first, I thought it was one of those 'fat suits' that Robin Williams wore in "Mrs. Doubtfire" only I thought it was the 'naked' version of that suit. Cuz..I didn't really see his penis. I thought it was covered under the suit. Twas really funny!

So then, me and Bill leave and go to my house, Bill had to use my comp to bid on the watch on Ebay that he wanted. He called Alex, and then Alex tells me that he's going to see RE:2 with Josh. Alex invites me to come with him. (And I thank you for that man, you're a true friend for covering me on that ticket) Of course I had no money, because my family is going through some very hard times at this moment =(.

Bill gave me a ride to Scotty B's where Alex & Josh and his gf Dania? (donno how to spell name) we chat a little bit and then we leave for Mall of America.

Now, Resident Evil: Apocalypse was really not that bad as every critic says it is. It appealed to me because I'm a fan of the action genre, and I'm not the only one who liked it ;-) Alex dug it also. He thought it was the best vidgame-to-movie.

I'd rate it 7/10.

Iggy fo' Sheezy out.

Day 4 & 5

Sorry Alex, for not writing this when promised, but Ima keep this one short.

So on Sunday, we woke up early and I went swimming for a bit again - later at 10-ish or 11-ish, when we got back to the hotel. We packed and left. We dove down to the end of the beach and went to the pier. It was pretty cool, and it was getting windy. I saw this big group of dolphins! it was nice. When it started raining we left Ocean City and went back to Springfield, VA

In the car while we drove I watched episodes of BATMAN; TAS on the laptop - we then drove through Chesapeake Bay Tunnel Bridge which is about 18 miles long. There are two tunnels each are 2 miles long. We then walked a bit at the parking stop on the bridge. Later when we left we went to Yorktown. The famous battle of the Revolution. I found that pretty interesting.

We got to our Hotel in Springfield at 9 or 10pm I dont remember exactly.

Now, on a Monday...our last day in VA area - we drove down to DC and spent a lot of time there looking at monuments and different memorials. We took a couple of pictures at the Lincoln memorial and Korean War memorial. Basically every memorial/monument. It was a really great experience for me there, and I did not feel bored while there.

I also saw about 5 presidential helicopters on that day! it was insane. One helicopter kept circling around the lake where the Thomas Jefferson memorial is at. We left DC and then went to my stepdad's place. That's where we had dinner. My parents watched "The Passion of the Christ" while I went upstairs and watched "The American President" on HBO, I decided to watch that movie only because my interest rose after visiting DC!

After the movie was finished we went back to the hotel, I went to bed @ 12am

On a Tuesday morning we left for MN.

After a nice weekend and labor day vacation I can say this: I've seen more in 5 days, than I have seen in 5 years! This just shows how there's nothing interesting in Minnesota. What can you really do for fun here? Fishing? Mall of America is nice, but I barely go there. There's really less things to do in MN than on the east coast. If I felt bored I can just take a 10 minute ride to DC and walk around in the park where there are TONS of people. It just feels alive. I feel like i'm imprisoned, just living in fuckin' mound. There's nothin to do here. I've done some things with Tom & Alex that made me feel 'alive'. I loved the east coast. It's so nice, if you live in VA, you can take some 2 hour ride to the Ocean and relax there for a weekend. Here, all you can do on a weekend is take a ride and go fish. Haha

I'm looking forward to be living in VA.

This doesn't mean I'm gonna forget you, you pole vaulter... ;o) and you Tom & Bill. Hell naw, you guys rock - you're the only three people that I've had fun with, for that I'm thankful.

Hooah!

Day 3 - Ocean City, MD

At 5am on a Saturday morning, I was woken up, and thats when we went to Ocean City, Maryland. We got there about 11 to 12-ish. We parked really close to the beach, but you could not see the beach yet, beach weed was in the way ;-). We quickly ate in the car. I then got out and started walking towards the beach.

I walk and I walk, I get closer to the weeds that are blocking the ocean front. Moments later, I see the horizon...which is the ocean. Yay! my first time ever when I actually see it with my own two eyes. It felt incredible to be there. The experience is very nice. Of course me being used to live by the Black Sea, the ocean is not something that's all that different from the sea, except that the ocean is quite a bit bigger than the Black Sea..but I mean in terms of seeing the horizon all clear, not seeing another island across...yea. =)

I then went back to the car and put on my swimming shorts. Got back to the beach, and went at it! I felt really good, cause I ain't been swimming like that in a while. Almost 5 years since I left Odessa, where I used to go to the beach all the time!

I swim quite a bit then I got out and sat a little bit on the sand. some 15 minutes later or less, I got back in. A little be later in the afternoon we went looking for a Hotel. We found one. After we got all our stuff inside I went back to the beach..and I dunno, but I think I was inside the water for like 3 hours. The wind by then picked up! and we were getting humongous waves! so I was ridin' those. I called myself the "wave ridah" lol. Hooah. Well after all that I got out and lay on the sand. Some dude asked me to take a pic of him and his crew...so i did that, and after that lol, I fell asleep on the sand. Got a bit of a sunburn !!! alalalal!

In the evening we went to a buffet, ate, and went back to the beach and we bought a 2 dolla' ticket for this trolley or whatever, its like a train. But it's a car train. It took us from one end of the beach to the other. Dang. It took like 30 minutes cuz we kept stopping. Let me tell u, there were hella lot o' people at the time walking on this long road. Shops were to the side so that's the attraction. Speaking of attraction, there wuz many attractive babes.

So anyways, when we got back to the hotel - I watched some Batman: TAS episodes and went to sleep.

Day 4, tomorrow

BTW, we got 4th place in REDKNIGHT meet today. i sucked today. = (

Day 2 in Virginia

Sorry for all of you out there who are actually reading my journal for not updating when I said i would. Ok, now I'm a little shady on what Friday was like since It's been a 'week' already. Here's what I remember though. I remember my family getting some food at a grocery store and then going to where my stepdad lives and having lunch...oh wait, I remember now..we went to Fairfax, Virginia...which is like 15 minutes drive from Springfield - let me tell ya. Very nice area..good location, populated...unlike Mound -_-. We drove around a bit looking for townhouses that were for sale. Also before we went to Fairfax we looked around some townhouses in the Springfield area. Very nice also, clean, neat, looks good! After Fairfax, that's when we bought the groceries and went to eat.

Later on in the evening, that's when we went to Washington, it was 6:30pm and we found a parking spot, we parked close to the White House. There's some sort of a walking park thats where we walked. Got to the White House, a lot of people were at the gate taking pictures, filming, etc. Tourists mostly. We took a couple of pictures in front of the white house then went north of white house to walk, but eventually walked back because the back of the white house was blocked. There was some sort of a construction going on. We walked down the road stopped at a hot dog van. I expected good hot dogs not a hot dog you can buy at a grocery store for $1.99

I expected those good, nice, grilled hot dogs..but oh well ( i got that wish on a Monday night ;-) )

After we ate the hot dogs and washed it down with some beverage. Close by there was a van with T-shirts selling. There were all sorts of 'em. CIA, FBI, DEA..lol, my stepdad showed me the CIA, we were gonna get it but they wouldn't accept cred cards, stepdad had no cash on him at the time. Oh well it's not a big deal anyways.

We walked back to our car, but on the way there, I called my good friends Veldan from Bloomington. He was not home at the time. Although I left him a minute worth of a message hehe, saying how they 'missed their chance to talk with me "live" from DC hahah. So after that we went back to our Hotel and that's when I started watching the first disc of BATMAN; TAS vol 1. on the Laptop I watched 4 or 5 episodes. I went to sleep at 12-ish because we had to wake up early at 5a cuz thats when we were going to Ocean City, MD!!!

To Be Continued... "Day #3"

The Five Amazing Days of My Life

I am back! from the beautiful state of Virginia. I left for Washington D.C. on an early Thursday morning. The plane left for Chicago...and wow, it only took about 59 minutes to get there! I was actually amazed, having never flied to Chicago..so that was unbelievably surprising! So we get to Chicago, and we ave only 30 minutes before the plane for Washington leaves.

Guess wha..the terminal for D.C. was on the other side, so it kinda sucked carrying the bags for about 10 minutes but as soon as we got there, the plane already started boarding. So...we're in the air again and this time I'm not as nervous as I was when we got on the plane to Chicago 'cuz I didn't fly for 4 years! It was my 4th time flying..the 1st was in October of '99 when I came to the US that was a flught from Warsaw, Poland to Chicago. 2nd was that same night Chicago to Minneapolis...3rd time was from Minneapolis to Florida on Thanksgiving '99. This was my 4th. So 5th time, which is from Chicago to DC..I didn't feel nervous no mo'

Alright so, we get to DC...beautiful day, beautiful city. It's amazing, we drove by the Pentagon I saw the part that was rebuilt after the crash on 9/11. They're pretty much done. As we drive do Springfield, Virginia..10 minutes away from DC, I notice we're driving on one cool freeway. Three sections of lanes. One to, One back, One in the middle if it's traffic and you have 3 people in the car - thats the lane u can use.

We get to the townhouse my stepdad is renting, and eat there some delicious sandwich from "Bozzelli's"

Long day short: After we got to DC/Springfield, VA we got our hotel rooms and after that we went around cruising a little bit at where my stepdad's HQ are (military stuff) got our ID's (so we can access the base) my stepdad and I then bought mom "The Passion of The Christ" it was a B-day present from us (kept it a secret til last nite) also got "Batman: The Animated Series Vol. 1" there, thanks to my stepdad. Then we went to DC!!! and saw the white house. After a little cruising in DC we went to a nice China buffet ate, and went to our hotel.

And this concludes DAY #1. Come back tomorrow for DAY #2 =) hehe can't type my whole 5 days in one entry that would be way too long!
