it really has been a while.
and a while it has been! a lot of things, a lot. a lot has happened. i stopped - wait, let me be straight - lost interest in daily blogging since i moved out here to the east coast. back when i still lived in mound things were a lot different than now all my friends are back there but new ones are here as well. then there's the factor of change that goes in. as you grow up you change.
i thought i should write something here and express my thoughts a little bit. i've been doing some reading the past month. i'm on my third book now and i find myself surfing amazon.com more often than imdb.com nowadays because i'm in constant search for knowledge, for enlightenment.
as you can see, my word-form entrees are replaced with posters of movies i've been watching for the past year. last december, i decided to go on a film watching spree. i've been watching movies before, but not in the extent i watch them now. sometimes i average 4 movies a day, but have slowed down a bit of course. =)
i track every film i've seen for the past year and make a monthly list, or a whenever-i-feel-like-posting list.
a lot of new music has entered my sound vocabulary. mostly i've been listening to the label of "MERCK" which is now dead, unfortunately. some great works from that label.
i'm attending school, yes, NOVA, i'm finishing up this community college (which really, is just another high school) and will be transferring to George Mason as far as I now know.
my interest in cinematography still remains, and as long as that passion is burning it will never seize to exist. i turn 21 on october 20th, and i hope to celebrate it well, around friends and family.
last friday; i went to my best friend hassan's house for a sleepover. we watched Tarantino's Death Proof, followed by Doug Liman's "GO" it was a total of 4 of us, me, hassan, and his two brothers, hammad, and haris. the TRIPLE H after that we went to sleep, and around 3am or so, as we usually tend to do - started to randomly talk about various things in our lives.
in the morning, we went to the store that hassan holds, Budget Beatz - and hung out- later went to a mall while the two were left in charge of the store. saw beatiful babies at the mall and cruised around listening to breakz and other muzack in hassan's car - testing that bass to da full.
right now im sitting and its 5;15pm - the weather....is actually quite beautiful
